The last week has brought news that it is confirmed that the Zambian Immigration is in a restructuring process. Once this process is through, they will once again begin processing applications. We have been assured that our delay is entirely due to this situation and has nothing to do with the content of the application. It is a relief to have this updated information, however, it leaves a big question mark in our future. There is no way to know exactly how long this process will take, nor to know how far along our application is in the process. *
Therefore, at this time we are continuing to sit tight and are exploring the possibility of sort term housing for the next few months to give us some permanency and stability. Currently, we are working this week in the office of Partners Worldwide in Grand Rapids, MI. If you are in the area and would like to visit with us please give us a call or message. We will do our best to connect. Our housing this stay is just outside Holland where we are house sitting at least until Monday August 4. *
For more information on our personal journey see the post below. *
We also want to thank all our family and friends who have so generously given for our benefit. Your support both formal and informal (through meals, clean beds, and entertainment) has blessed us and made us feel loved and supported through this difficult wait.*
