Current Status

After completing the training curriculum for Partners Worldwide and moving out of our Holland apartment Kyle and I are officially nomads. Following our departure from Holland we spent a week in Detroit with my parents. Then we headed to Chicago for some time with Kyle's family and to settle into our temporary base. Currently, our furniture and possessions are in storage in the Chicago area and we are living out of our suitcases as we travel place to place. This morning we drove to Grand Rapids and are currently preparing for a conference with Partners Worldwide that will begin this evening and continue through Friday evening. We will stay in Holland through the weekend to visit with friends and supporters.

Visa Status

After a few changes and a bit of editing our visa application was to be submitted this week. We are praying fervently that it will pass through the system at record speed and be ready in four weeks. However, all things are in the Lord's hands and His timing. It is His door to open and His door to shut.

Extra Time

With our extra time we have tried to make the most of it by visiting family, friends, and supporters in the Michigan/Chicago circuit. We anticipate a lot of traveling in the weeks to come. We are also taking the time to prepare spiritually for the journey to come. Kyle and I are asking the Lord to teach us how to pray and to teach us to hear His voice for direction.

Your prayers are priceless to us as we see the Lord's providing hand everyday. Thank you and please continue to pray that the Lord would encourage us on the difficult days and that we would continue to seek His face in ALL things.
