'there's no place like home...'

Greetings from Lusaka, Zambia!

On Monday, Kyle and I packed up our bags and our car and drove to Lusaka, Zambia. Lusaka is the capital city of Zambia and the city where from we will start our journey home. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are being used for meetings with possible future partners, current partners and car maintenance. We depart for the USA on Thursday morning. Below you will find our flight schedule AND our schedule for the time home. If there is an open gathering you would like to attend you are welcome to contact us for more information. We will also have a cell phone when we are home, that phone number will go out by email.

Kyle and I drive to Grand Rapids, MI to begin meetings with Partners Worldwide. We will be staying in the Grand Rapids area until Saturday October 10. Our days and some evenings are scheduled with work meetings, but we are still trying to see supporters and friends as we are able.

Kyle and I will be attending the Partners Worldwide Partnership Summit and related meetings.

Kyle and I will drive to Detroit and be staying with my parents.

There will be an open house at the Metters' (Bethany's parents) from 2pm-5pm. This is an open event to anyone who is interested. Our schedule is quite full at this point, but you are welcome to contact us and we will see if it is possible to meet.

The last four months have been difficult for us. We continue to need your prayers as we work through the legal process. On Monday when we stopped at the police station in Nyimba where we were informed that they will plan to take our case to court on October 23, 2009. Tomorrow we will be meeting with a lawyer to discuss our next steps. We continue to be deeply affected by the tragedy and cannot express gratitude enough for continued support. We would not have made it this long without your encouragement.
