Top Ten Lessons Learned in Year 1.

As we wrapped up our first year here, with all its stresses and challenges, we tried to think about all that we have learned and about the things that make us laugh. We narrowed it down to our Top Ten Lessons for Year 1 in Zambia. We hope you enjoy.

10. Don't sit under shade umbrellas when it’s windy.

9. Soybeans can change your life.

8. Driving on the other side of the road is not as hard as you think.

7. Living in a warm climate makes the slightest drop in temperature feel like its freezing.

6. A female cat in heat makes for a miserable pet, but she's is GREAT for catching mice, lizards AND cockroaches.

5. Things move much more slowly here... still waiting for Kyle's driving license after 10 months.

4. Life is precious so take advantage of everyday God gives you to DO what you love and are passionate about. Get rid of all the clutter that distracts and ensnares you.
