PRAYER FOR VISION

I realize I am posting this a few days late, I still wanted to share it with all of our supporters. Initially, I wrote the devotional posted below for our North American Affiliate but I know so many of you desire to know how best to pray for us.

On Friday, November 28, 2008, our project Christian Business with Integrity (CBI)-Chipata is meeting to cast vision for the next phase of their organization. The first few years had a micro-loan focus that struggled with defaulting, causing great struggle for the project. But in the last year and particularly the last three months, there has been movement to repay all savings and start over in January of 2008. The Board independently acquired the capital they needed to achieve this goal through the sale of a house, possessed from a debt collection. They are on schedule to pay back everything by January. This Friday, the meeting will focus on what the future can hold and how the Board and participating members want to move in the future. This meeting will take place at 7am EST.

Please join us in prayer and/or fasting during the rest of this week for the needs posted below You can join us over the next few days or just lift all the issues before God when you have time:

Prayer Focus for week of 11/24/2008:

John 15 is the scripture we encourage you to meditate on each day when you consider these requests.

Monday: God's Holy Spirit would begin to stir in the hearts of His people, drawing those who should be involved to come to the meeting. And pray God would cut off those branches which will not bear fruit in this ministry (Jn.15: 1-2).

Tuesday: For God's Holy Spirit to be inspiring and growing ideas and vision for the future in each participant. Pray for the participants to be praying and having God at the center of their ideas (Jn. 15:4-7).

Wednesday: For God to begin preparing leadership in the hearts of those who are called to lead the next phase of CBI. (John 15:16)

Thursday: I know it is a busy day today, but please take time to pray God's covering and blessing on the meeting tomorrow and that the powers of the enemy would be BOUND in Jesus name from interfering with future of CBI.

Friday: For the vision to be cast, with the Glory of God as the goal, and the Kingdom of God coming to Chipata as the vehicle for His Glory. All this connected into a plan to support and encourage the business community here. (Jn. 15:8).
