weeds?!?

Kyle and I had experiences this week that took us from endless frustration to frantic anxiety. I plan to write more when I have had time to reflect, but I wanted to share a bit tonight:

Beginning last Saturday, we had perpetual blackouts with power and water out for all but one hour a day! It was a mysterious nationwide problem that went unrevealed until it was resolved. Below is an article you can read about what happened:

Unfortunately, we had to throw away or give away the contents of our fridge because power was never strong enough to sustain a cold fridge. However, we found it to be an excellent opportunity to pray and then share with those around us who cannot normally find meat for supper. It is true that God can redeem even the most simple of frustrations and create something beautiful.
