Quarter-Century Birthdays.

The last few weeks have been very busy for us. Hope you can share with us as you read below:

Projects
Kyle continues to work hard, diligent to follow up regularly with each of our projects. The last month has been difficult to assess the future movement of CBI Chipata. Although not all the attempts to move forward can be successful, Kyle has established some very good working relationships with the people involved. We are praying that training can begin in May and that this venture will assist in shaping the future.
Kyle meets regularly with the school accountant these days. The school system here runs three terms a year with a one month holiday between each term. Currently, the Christian school is on holiday allowing for more time to discuss and get things up-to-date. They are working to establish a balance sheet and finish the current monthly accounts.
On April 18, Kyle will meet with CBI Lusaka to consult about the future movement of this group.
The director of Farmer-to-Farmer will be joining us for a sharing and learning trip to Mozambique the third week of April. Here we will visit a value-chain development model with an emphasis on supporting rural farmers. This trip will give F2F a chance to share their success as well observe other models that could be adapted to support farming in Eastern Province, Zambia.

New Responsibilities: Jobs 2 Hope

As mentioned in our latest email update, I was recently offered a part-time position assisting PW with some grant administration and logistics planning. The Concept for this project is called Jobs 2 Hope. The money is to be used jointly by three PW partnerships in Southern Africa. My first assignment has been to assist in the planning for a joint meeting that will happen in Mozambique April 20-24. This has kept me on my toes and sharpening my planning skills. Kyle and I plan to travel to this meeting.

Birthday Bonanza!
Here in Chipata, two ladies in the Stob household hit their first quarter-century. On March 23, we celebrated Jenny's 25th birthday and on April 2, we celebrated mine. Both were joyous occasions shared with new and old friends.
This is a picture of the birthday girls.

This is a picture of the group that came over for games and treats to celebrate Jenny's Birthday.

Kind birthday wishes and special birthday packages made this a special birthday to remember. Thanks to everyone!

Hey Guys! Love you so much and hope you are doing so well in the Lord and in your marriage. Abby and I are getting extremely excited for July 3rd! I will fly back to the States on 23 May straight to Norfolk. I will be taking leave once we get married for the honeymoon and subsequent movement of Abby from northern Virginia to join me in southern Virginia.

Pressing on towards the Goal,
SRH
